St Thomas

  • 1. The Shopping District
A trip to St Thomas in the US Virgin Islands through a designer's eyes... The tourist industry accounts for so much of the commerce that it seems the locals have been overlooked.

Wedding Invites

  • 7 - Back Cover
As a designer, the invitations were the most important part of the wedding planning. I bought a dress the weekend before the party, but my invitations were planned far in advance (and cost more than the dress)! These invitations involved a custom photo shoot, custom illustration, specialty papers overnighted from a paper house in California, and hand finishing in addition to machine binding. What can I say, but, "This is how I express my love!".

"Gifts of Omegaman" - by Mateo Jaimes

Ocean01

"What I would really hope to convey in my paintings is that there is a gift out there for all of us, available each day of our lives: the fragrance of springtime, closing your eyes and feeling the sunshine on your face, accidentally bumping into a friend on the street. All of these moments, and many more are inside the many, many layers of my paintings." -An excerpt from the artist's statement
